Leaving for vacation

I got up at 7:30 today and have been working ever since. I traveled 72 miles round-trip for Wal-Mart to pick up a something the store "urgently" needed that it didn't need at all. (at least I was paid for mileage AND I got to get out of the store).

I did someone else's job for part of the afternoon and got to sit down for a while doing it. Yes, they're the type to skiv off if at all possible.

I flat-out refused to go out into the parking lot and pull in shopping carts in the noon sun. I will not suffer for the incompetence of management. If they want FRELLING carts, they can take themselves out there in their crisp, white button-downs and get the dratted things. Or hire/schedule properly to begin with!

I left the store and came to my other job. I have been working from 8:30 a.m. Aug. 3 to 3:15 a.m. Aug. 4. I took a 30 min. lunch at Wal-Mart, had about 20 minutes of drive time to work here, then another 45 min. lunch when I realized I was about to go to sleep and I needed food. Other than that, I've worked all day.

AND NOW I'M GOING ON VACATION FOR TEN DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will not have regular Internet access (maybe not at all, not sure) so I don't know how often I'll be able to update. But I'm getting on a plane in 8 hours, and I haven't packed at stitch. So, au reservoir!

YES, I know. It is a joke. If you get it, let me know.

Sounds like a lame vacation at a reservoir tho'

I can't imagine someone who needs a vacation more.

Promise you won't speak politely to a single jerk.
