It was a big day Friday. I got a new boss (and five new co-workers) at my full-time job. My hours will change a lot, as will my responsibilities to a lesser degree.
What does this mean for Wal-Mart? Well, they'd been jerking me around about letting me step down from my supervisor role. Now, they have no choice because I am simply not available enough hours to fulfill the requirements of the job. Unfortunately, I'm not available for Customer Service either, although we may negotiate that.
I'm most likely going to be a Layaway associate on Saturday, Sunday and Mondays. We'll see what happens. Dealing with all the massive changes coming down the pike from one job is enough, much less two.
